Maya - 19 months

Maya is 19 months! Here she is ready to slide down the slide on the new and improved Fort at Hidy and Gigi's. Hidy spent the last 2 weekends making the fort safer and easier for the little kids to get around in it. They LOVE it.

Thanks HIDY!

Mason, Maya, and the Pumpkin

We tried to capture the kids in their coordinating yellow outfits with a pumpkin for the fall season. Instead of looking like a brother and sister that love each other - Maya looks like she is choking her brother Mason!!
Maya really did not want Mason to sit on the pumpkin. SHE wanted to sit on the pumpkin. And when she couldn't stay on the pumpkin, she wanted to pick UP the pumpkin....

She tried her hardest.... but it was really heavy.

They call me mellow yellow

Sunday dinner with cousins

Maya and Zoe graduated to the big kids table for Sunday dinner.

"Grape"

My Cousin, Greg, was in town for some flight training earlier this month. Greg is the closest thing I ever had to a brother. Mason and Maya really enjoyed being with Greg for the short time he was here. Maya called him "Grape" -- so cute. She immediately was drawn to him as was Mason. We sure wish we could see him more often.

Greg has a job that Brian would love. He is a pilot - he flies a G3 for some Casino owners in Vegas.

Pumpkins for my Pumpkins

We went with Christine, Curt, and Kirsten "Kiki" to the pumpkin patch.
Maya found a big pumpkin that she liked and decided she would try to pick it up.
Kirsten found one she liked too!

My kids mostly enjoyed the bounce house.

Maya didn't want to leave after she discovered she could sit on the big pumpkin. Until the lady gave her a lolli pop she screamed as I tried to remove her.

Maya DOES look like Mommy!

This picture was taken in 1977 of my sister, Allison and me.

Until I saw this picture, I didn't realize that Maya looked like me.

These boots are made for walkin'

I got Maya some really cute new brown boots. She loved them. As soon as I put them on her -- with her PJ's, she started marching around. I ran in the dark extra bed room to grab the camera and ran right into the pack and play that was set up for Zoe. I badly injured my pinky toe on my right foot. I thought it could be broken. I still am not sure - but I know there is nothing they can do for a broken toe. Anyway - I got a couple of shots through my pain of Maya with her new boots.

I've got to get a new camera- mine has a horrible delay and it is so hard to get good pictures of kids who move and change so quickly!!

Camping trip to Cedar Hill

We had quite an adventure camping. Angi requested that the whole family take a camping trip over her birthday weekend. The kids had a great time exploring around the campsite and jumping on the air matress in Hidy and Gigi's tent! Everyone had a good time on the trip excluding the sleeping arrangements.... (our tent was on an incline and we all slid into each other all night -- needless to say - we didn't get a lot of rest)

Hidy and the 3 little girls sit around the fire in the morning - it was kind of chilly!

Mason, Carmen and Benjamen as they are exploring around the camp site.
