Ants

Gigi took the girls to the park today...and they had fun but they got into ants and had bites all over thier feet..... but they were all smiles after getting them medicated! This is such a cute picture, thanks Gigi.

Mason's first lost tooth

I got a call from the school nurse, which scared me. Mason apparently lost his tooth and didn't even know it. When he was walking in the hallway, he passed the principal who said "OH! Mason, when did you lose your tooth?" Mason answered, "I haven't yet"...... They showed him in the mirror that he had, in fact, and they sent him to see the nurse. They looked everywhere and finally concluded that he must have swallowed his tooth during lunch. He was very worried about not having his tooth for the tooth fairy, so the nurse wrote a special note for him to leave for the tooth fairy.

He was very excited to wake up to find $6. I think the tooth fairy meant to leave $5. ;)

It was open curtain night which meant the parents could see what was going on during class.

And there is glass between me and the class, so that is why the pictures are not great.

We had a fun and relaxing Labor day. We had no structed plans. I used some of the day to run errands and do things around the house. Then in the afternoon we grilled hot dogs and swam with Colette, KJ, and Reese.

Family swim

We had a little family swim.

Eva was pathetic and hilarious watching out the backdoor from the inside of the house. Angi had left to go get swimsuits so Eva and a few others were waiting inside....

Paloma's Fancy Nancy Party

Paloma had her 4th birthday party, a Fancy Nancy party. I posted a picture of Fancy Nancy for those that may not be familiar with her. Gigi made a fabulous Fancy Paloma cake using lots of fancy things...some old, some new, some real, some fake..all very fancy!

Angi had mentioned to the family that the party would be "black tie optional." Maya was happy to get to dress up fancy. Mason chose the "optional" route and wore his t-shirt and shorts. (surprise, suprise)

The little girls got to get make up on and also get their fingernails and toenails painted.

Angi handmade the boys gift bags to look like tuxedos. Very cute.

Maya first day of Pre K

Maya was ready for her first day of school. She was excited that she was going to be in "Pre K" and also that her Pre K class would be "upstairs" at her school.

She was really anxious to see her "boyfriend" Henry who would be in her class again this year.

Ms. Tracy talks to the girls as they look for their names outside the door.....And inside the class room, Maya and Zoe are happy to see each other! They had a great first day.
