First Grade

Mason started first grade. He was excited about getting back to school. I took him for his first day. And this year because of where our new house is, he will not get bus service. So, I dropped him off and then parked and went inside to see him in his class and drop off his supplies.

(Maya INSISTED on going with me to take Mason) When we got in his classroom, he was already busy at work. Maya had to see what he was doing.
The principal came on the intercom and they started to say the pledge so we knew we needed to go. I was just a little emotional walking out. But no actual tears. My boy is growing up way to fast. While Mason was busy at school, we were busy MOVING... ALL.DAY.LONG.

Boat Adventure

We had so much fun on our boat adventure.

Luke and Maya were looking at something in the water or maybe they were just trying to get their hands in it... I don't know. Whatever they were doing, it was funny and cute with their little bottoms in the air. It worried Maddox a lot though.

Wendy & Parker, such a great picture..(yes, I took it)

Cute girls...

Quite a crew...

The boys.. (the big boys)

We saw many dolphins swimming in one area, so we circled around and watched them. It was hard to catch them on my camera because I never knew where they were going to pop up, but it was really awesome to see. Some of them were very close to the boat.

Mason, Luke, Maya & Parker enjoying the beautiful view...

My babies...

Parker & Luke..

We made a stop at what we called "shell island," it was awesome. There were SO many GREAT shells and this was one of my favorite parts of the day. I collected shells to use to decorate in my new bathroom that leads to the pool.

Here are some of our treasures...

Mason is the "king of the world"... and this was not posed...

Maya behind the wheel -- WATCH OUT! :)

The little boys... (who are growing up TOO fast)

We made another stop for those that wanted to to go crab hunting. I stayed in the boat.

What a fun adventure we had!

Port A Friday Night

We got cleaned up to go to dinner.
Here are the dads / guys at dinner...

Luke doesn't like to have his picture taken -- haha, but Wendy is always all smiles!

The place we had dinner also had miniature golf. The kids were excited to play.

After we played miniature golf, we decided to go pay the traditional visit to the big shark.

The kids love climbing around and running through the belly of the shark.

The Moms...

You would think that after ALL we packed in to one day, the kids would be ready for bed.... but instead they made signs and marched into the living room chanting 1:00 o'clock... and were petitioning to stay up late... (1 a.m.). "NO WAY!!!" was their answer.
