It did not matter that the kids were up super late the night before, Mason among other little ones woke up bright and early. Unfortunately, this meant most adults were also up bright and early. Berkley and Derek didn't seem to notice all the commotion which was a good thing. Clearly they can sleep through anything. Brian and Chris left to go fishing in the surf.
After breakfast, we started getting ready to go to the beach. "Getting ready to go to the beach" with this crew of 12 is no small task. We packed up chairs, towels, a big tent thingy, an ice chest of sandwiches, and ice chest of drinks, several bags of chips, etc. and then we were ready to go.
