End of the Season Baseball Party

We hosted Mason and Gabe's baseball team end of the season party at our house. The kids seemed to enjoy it!!

Coach Kevin gets throw in the pool in his clothes... Brian was also pushed in later, but I was inside and didn't know it was happening and he was out before I ever came back out with the camera...

Gabe's Party at the Youth Ballbark!

My sister, Angi, reserved the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark for Gabe's birthday. We ended up having a rain make up game for that same time. So she worked with the YMCA and the opposing team and we go to play our real baseball game at the field. It was really cool and the kids thought they were big time!
Eva and Maya greet each other with a smile and a hug...

All the kids got to be involved in the party even if they were not playing the game. Angi and David planned activities in between each inning and the kids had so much fun!

Gigi made an adorable baseball glove cake and baseball cupcakes...

Angi and David with their 5 plus 3 cousins (only missing Lauren)

Mason up to bat...

Brian pitching...

I just happened to be on the field with my camera on sports mode for this play. Mason was playing the pitch position, fielded the ball and tagged the player out on his way to first... and I got it all on camera...

OUT!!!

Mason takes a break and says hi to Lauren and Shay.

Many kids entertaining Eva..it's fun to make her laugh

And our little Rangers win, 11 to 5! They had a great time too!

The famous Zonk even made an appearance and signed autographs after the game.

I love this picture of Maya and Mason on the pitcher's mound...

Father's Day

Mason and Maya were anxious to give their cards to Brian that they made at school.

I was also excited to have Brian open the Keurig that I bought him for Father's day!

Maya and Sabrina made Brian another special card for Brian. It's from "Princess Stinky Foot" with an outline of Maya's foot in it. Brian says "All Hail Princess Stinky Foot" when Maya takes off shoes that she wears with no socks. Maya gets mad...

We discovered some of Mason's artwork on Gigi's refrigerator at lunch. It's a really good drawing of SpongeBob and Patrick! :) Cute.
I hope all the Dad's had a special Father's day!

Grand Cayman, Last Day

We were so excited to find SpongeBob at breakfast on our last morning. At that moment, I did wish the kids were with us, as they are huge SpongeBob fans. But we got our picture with him and we knew they would get a kick out of that.
SpongeBob was dancing after we took a picture with him.

We took a few more pictures of the beach where we had spent all of our days.. and then off to the airport. We loved Grand Cayman and will most definitely be returning. It's clean and feels very safe. I'd love to take the kids sometime too.

Grand Cayman, Day 4

We spent the entire day on the beach our our last full day. We had a lot of fun a met a few people along the way. One of the highlights of the day was when I got to hold the parrot named "Echo."
He was really heavy and those claws were digging into my skin! But it was cool! I kind of would like a pet parrot, but Raider would probably go crazy, and I wouldn't like cleaning up after the bird.

There was a really pretty sunset and we got a picture as we were packing up for the day...

We went to dinner at The Wharf. We read that they did a nightly Tarpon feeding from their dock and Brian was really interested in seeing that. We made a reservation and got a primo table out by ourselves on the water. It was really nice!

The Tarpons were EVERYWHERE, the obviously know they will be fed.

They look kinda mean to me...
We skipped on dessert at the Wharf because I was really craving ice cream. We drove around the island to 2 different ice cream places and each of them had just closed. :(
We went back to the hotel and shared a brownie sundae. It was better than nothing. I kind of hogged the ice cream on it.

Grand Cayman, Day 3

I loved my view from my lounge chair on the beach... beautiful water, sand and sky!!

I also enjoyed my frozen beverage. I had to borrow Brian's Tech hat, my face and scalp had enough sun!

We did quickly notice that Grand Cayman was quieter and calmer than Cancun. Which also meant there was no music playing. I kinda missed the music, so I was glad I had my i Pod.

We went to dinner at a restaurant called Luca. It was okay.. not great. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening though!
