Princess Maya

Princess Maya in her big girl dancing princess bed. You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff that is required to sleep "with" her in her bed. It's mostly at the foot, so not shown in this picture. You'll notice she still likes to have the little airplane pillow that was Mason's, as well as "brown blankie" and "green blankie."

Maya has gotten very much into anything "Princess." Here she is wearing a tiara, a necklace, earrings, a ring or "point your finger" and holding a wand. She went to Mason's soccer game like this. Luckily it was her with all these accessories. Sometimes she makes me where all of it.

Light Saber Vs. Sword

Mason got a Star Wars light saber for his birthday from Uncle Christopher and Aunt Debbie for his birthday. And Allison, Bill, Zoe, and Lauren gave Mason Target gift cards which he bought a Bat Man sword among several other things. They both light up, so many nights we go thru this routine... light out, swords on.

Are you ready to rumbllllllllllllllllllllle

Sunday at the races, well our own version of the races. We took the Hummer over to race against the Silverado.

The Hummer won everytime except when we gave the girls in the Silverado a head start or held the Hummer back a little.

"WHO'S READY TO RACE?" All hands go up, "MEEEE!!!"
Paloma watches on and uses the cones as a hat.
Gigi watches on holding a precious bundle of Eva.

Time for Daddy's to race.

A flying car, how awesome is that?

Petting Zoo and Pony Rides

Hannah, one of Maya's classmates, and friend of both Mason and Maya had her 3rd birthday party which included a petting zoo and pony rides.

I was surprised that Mason got on the pony. We have been to parties before where the kids could ride a horse or a pony, and he never cared for it. He saw Maya take a ride and several other kids and then he told me he wanted a turn.
Maya with her school friends, Hannah and Ryan.
Zoe smiles while riding the pony.

Mason, Paloma, Zoe, Maya all fenced in with the little animals.

Maya was so excited to get to ride the pony. She rode him several times.
Mason with the birthday girl. All the little girls love Mason.

Zoe petting the little goat.
Mason petting the bunny.
Hannah and Maya with the goat.

The kids had fun and stayed very busy. When the 2 ladies packed up all of the animals, Mason got in the back of the trailer with the horse to "tell the animals good bye." I didn't know he had climbed in the trailer, and the ladies did not either. Luckily they took another peak before they drove off with my son!!!

Mason is 5

My baby boy is five. How could five years have past so fast. It is hard to remember our day to day lives before Mason was born. Mason got a scooter for his birthday. He was anxious to try it out.

After church we had a visit from Zak, Amanda, Maddie and Brooke. It's fun to get to see our friends. They live in San Antonio, so we don't get to see them very often.

We tried to get a group shot, but this is all I could get. Mason and Brook were cooperative, but Maddie and Maya took turns NOT cooperating.

After a quick nap, we took Mason to his FAVORITE restaurant, McDonald's. I LOVE this picture of him taken there.
Mason, Please stop growing up so fast... I love you so much!

Happy Birthday "Splash You" Mason

The Incredibles movie was the theme for Mason's 5th Birthday. We had the party at an indoor swim school.

Gigi made and INCREDIBLE Mr. Incredible cake! Very cool.
Mason flies into the pool like Superman.

Here Mason is scaling the rock wall.

Brian and Maya "swimming like fish."

Zoe lounges in the water.

This little slide was a BIG hit.

Fran enjoyed holding Incredible baby Eva. Yes, even Eva came with an Incredible shirt on.
KJ enjoys being a big kid in the pool with the birthday boy!

Before the kids got out of the pool, they circled around Mason to sing "Happy Birthday SPLASH you!" The kids were only supposed to splash Mason when they sange "splash." They all thought this was very funny.

The party group shot. They really seemed to enjoy themselves. Getting to go swimming in April is pretty cool!

Inside Mason opened presents. He was very expressive when he opened the Curious George movie. Thanks Sissy and Charlie!

Mason tells all his guests "THANK YOU!"

Two big kids (KJ & Brian)enjoy birthday cake.
Cake time!

The Incredible girl, Paloma! Adorable.

The kids were tired and we were all hungry after the party. We went for some dinner with Grandmother, Gigi and Hidy. Angi let me and M&M borrow these Incredibles shirts!
At home the kids pose with Mr. Incredible, the balloon the size of them!
