Spring Wildcats Soccer

Soccer got off to a slow start for the Spring. The first game was cancelled due to soggy fields, then the next week we had a scheduled off week, then it was Spring Break and Easter weekend and no games were scheduled. So, the first game ended up being on Maya's birthday about the same time as her party. I didn't get to go to his game at all. Finally we were going to have a good Saturday game day but...... Maya woke up pretty ill and I had to take her to the Dr. I Found out there that she had croup, an ear infection and swollen tonsils. She didn't need to be around other kids or in the dry air outside. Mason had 2 games in a row. Gigi came over to keep Maya so I could make it to the 2nd half of the 2nd game. Again a lot of the original Wildcats are back together for soccer, including his buddy, Preston.

Mason has the #7 jersey again and here he is about to score. He scored 4 goals on this day, I think.

He had some special fans on the sidelines. Uncle Chip, Aunt Debbie, cousins Lindsay and (happy baby) Landon were in town for the weekend. (I will add pictures to this post) We didn't get to hang out much because they had a stomach bug and then Maya was sick too. Also at the game, Uncle Bill and cousin Zoe, Nesha, Grandmother, Pops, Daddy, Hidy, Gigi, and a little while, Mommy! That's QUITE a cheering section, I'd say!
