On the move

Maya is ready to crawl!! This first picture was actually taken last Sunday. This was about the time that she would get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth like crazy. Her Daddy and Brother keep trying to show her how to crawl. Over the last week, she has made some progress in her crawling. She actually made a few "steps" forward. But mostly she moves backwards or to the side. Last night, she definitely moved forward a few times.

We met some of our friends, Janet, Derek, and Maddox for dinner Friday night at Babe's. Their food is so awesome - really low fat too, NOT.
We enjoyed getting to see our friends! Mason and Maddox enjoyed running around after dinner - up and down the sidewalk, around the gazebo...
All 3 kids were feeling under the weather - but we couldn't tell when they were playing.

OKAY - for those of you who think Mason looks like Brian - take a look at this picture!! I definitely agree in this one. I looked at this picture and could totally see the resemblance!
So, anyway, here Mason is showing me his new tennis racket that my sister, Allison, so nicely gave him. This has taken over as his new favorite toy.
He was so funny talking about it. He would repeat the same conversation over and over about his racket. He would tell me about how it had green on it and how it was cool. He was taking it in and out of the case. Last night, the tennis racket had to go to bed with him. This morning, he showed up at my bedside at 5:45 am. He had his juice, his "Sammy", and of course, his tennis racket. He carefully placed it by the side of the bed and climbed up next to me. Thanks Allison! Mason loves his new treasure!!
