We went to see Mason, Maya and Zoe in their school Christmas program. They start it out with a video of the One's department. The first year the children actually sing on stage is when they are in the Two's, so this was Maya and Zoe's first time to actually be on stage. Maya confidently walked out on stage, but very promptly headed back down the steps in the front to sit with me on the 3rd row. When we made her got back up on the stage, the tears began!

Zoe was crying right along with her.
But as you can see Zoe (in the red dress with the white sweater) got over it and joined in the singing and even with a smile.

Maya still crying is now with her sweet teacher, Ms. Jennifer.
By the 3rd song, "Happy Birthday Jesus," Maya did join in singing.

But she was the happiest when she got released and was able to sit with us! Next year, I think we might should sit a little further back where she won't see us!

Mason did a great job singing with his friends.

He even posed for a picture with Grandmother and Pops after the program. Maya was too busy running all over the stage.

Maya obviously gets really brave when all the people are gone. She went right up to the microphone to sing a solo!

They had cookies and punch afterwards. Zoe, Maya, and Mason were like three little grown ups huddled up with each other having conversation and enjoying their red punch.
