Fishing & Exploring

Sunday was a beautiful day. After the kids napped, we went to the Nature Center to play on the play ground. But the fun really began when Brian showed up with his fishing poles. While he fished, the kids had a great time exploring. Maya spent most of her time hunting for sticks and then promptly throwing them in the water. The ducks were trying to stay clear of her and her sticks. She thought they might like them. I assured her they did not.

Mason wanted to crawl thru this tunnel, but his mean Mommy wouldn't let him. He found many sticks that were shaped like guns. Since he doesn't have any toy guns at home, he finds plenty of things to turn into guns.... I suppose "boys will be boys"....
