There were some definite tense moments Saturday night watching the 4th quarter of the Tech vs. Texas game - but we pulled out the biggest win in school history by beating a #1 ranked team.Tech fans all over are absolutely thrilled!!
Even Mason knew what a big game this was for us. He was REALLY tired from being up late the night before, so at half time he went to bed. He was worried about not knowing the score and at first asked me if I would come tell him when we scored again. I assured him when he woke up in the morning, we could fill him in on how the game turned out. Sure enough, first question out of his mouth in the 6 O'clock hour -- "Mommy - WHAT WAS THE SCORE????" I said "It was 39 to 33, WE WON!!!!" Mason said "WE BEAT THE HORNS!!!!!!" He was so excited.
GO TECH!! We are hoping for another great game with OSU this coming weekend. Hidy, Gigi, Lauren and her friend are all going to Lubbock for the game.

I just bought myself another Red Raider T-Shirt cause the shirts I've been wearing since college are a little...um, old.
