I'm so excited! Brian surprised me with an early Christmas present -- a new AWESOME camera! So, I'm back to being in control of my blog! He got me a Canon Digital Rebel, I'm loving it already.

Friday morning when Maya got up, we noticed her eye looked like it was going to be black. It was. When we asked her what happened, she promptly answered "Zoe threw the Happy Birthday Emma book at me."

I thought you would be able to tell better in these pictures, but I'm glad you can't. I took these Saturday night and by then it was already looking better.

These were the very first pictures I got to take with my new camera because we didn't have a flash card for it until after my errands on Saturday.
