Open House at Mason's school

Mason was excited to take us to the open house at his school to show off all his hard work.

I was impressed with the story that he wrote and picture to go along with it. In case you can't read it, I'll translate:

This is my barn. My dog is white. My horse is brown. The pig is rolling in the mud. I like the farm. Mason read us the sheep facts they have been talking about in class. This whole month they have talked about farms and farm animals.

Maya stayed busy playing in the little kitchen.

I love this water colored painting.

When we got home, Maya modeled her black eye for me. A kitchen chair was accidently pushed into her eye the previous day. OUCH!
