Cancun

We had a fabulous time on our anniversary trip to Cancun! We were joined by friends, Christy & Tam and Chuck & Jeanne. We spent a lot of time out in the pool under the HOT sun!


We stayed at Riu Cancun - it is HUGE. We recommend it. It was an all inclusive, and the food was actually good! Samuel, who cleaned our room everyday, was a great towel sculpter. Unfortunately on day 1, our camera was ruined and I have no pictures of the swan or the dinosaur he made of towels. They were awesome.

When we got there the first afternoon we were all anxious to get out to the pool / beach. Only a few hours later a storm came thru, but since we were already wet and it wasn't lightning or thundering, we stayed in the pool. We were some of the few who braved the rain. It was fun... until the umbrella that our backpack was hanging on flew into the pool. The camera was in the backpack... it has not worked since then. Unfortunately, I never took ONE SINGLE PICTURE -- so these are all courtesy of Christy & Tam.

Coco the gorilla was really cool to watch. People were paying to have their picture with her, but I just liked to watch her. She liked it when people gave her candy, coke, even a cigarette, which I was mad about. She did NOT like it if anyone touched her chest. Her owner told her to act like Angelina Jolie and she stuck her lips out and made the pink part show -- pretty funny! (AND SMART!)


We loved hanging on the edge of the Infinity pool. We spent most of our time here! This is the 3 ladies: Jeanne, Christy and me.

Brian is already talking about taking another trip for my birthday in February! I'm in. I love the beach!
