The kids have wanted to go bowling again since the last time we went, and I think that was in the summer or even before that. I told them we could go sometime over the Christmas break and I fully intended to make that happen. Our precious time off work between Christmas and New Year flew by...as always. So, the Saturday evening before we were to go back to work, we decided to make good on the promise. Hidy and Gigi were keeping Zoe that evening and met us and Mason's friend Blake came along as well.Maya did so much better bowling on her own this time. Now she can handle and roll the ball on her own, and it made it all the way down the lane each time. Maya jumped up and down cheering while her ball made it's way to the pins in this picture.
Zoe had fun but seemed slightly less interested in bowling, but more interested in dancing, tickling and generally playing with Maya. Those girls laughed a lot.
The adults took some turns bowling, but all 4 of us didn't bowl our own game. We didn't want to wait extra long to get 2 lanes and we could only have 6 on a lane. Brian enjoyed his turns.. he kind of looks like he knows what he is doing.Mason did great, he even got a strike on one turn!

When we got home that night, I was exhausted!
