Cotton Bowl

Brian and I went to the Cotton Bowl with Hidy and Gigi. Thank you to David, my brother in law, we went for free! David gave my Dad 4 tickets plus a parking pass for Christmas. It was historic in that this would be the last REAL Cotton Bowl played at this stadium.

We met up with a group of college friends... and friends of friends for tailgating before the game. Jeff, one of Brian's long time friends, picked up a LOT of food.

Amanda, one of my college roommates, was in town with her husband Zak for the game! It was great seeing everyone.

April and Jimmy were part of the tailgating crew.

Gigi said it was her very first tailgating experience -- they had fun -- and we did too!

We headed into the game several hours later... the first quarter was really fun. I wish it would have ended there, but unfortunately it did not and Tech lost the game.
