While playing outside yesterday evening, along waddled 2 ducks toward us. I quickly ran in to get something for the kids to feed them with. That made the ducks hang around for a bit. Then the started to move on, but as all the neighbors went home and we were putting toys away, the ducks settled in our front yard. I took that opportunity to grab the camera. You can see the progression of Mason and Maya scaring them away again.... it was very cool, though, to have them come for a short visit.
In no correlation, Maya slept with a little yellow stuffed animal duck last night. This morning when I got her out of bed, she wanted to bring it with her. She picked it up and I said "duck" and she said "duck" and then she said "khack, khack, khack"...
