Maya - So much to say...

Maya can say so much. I should have posted this on her 16 months post - but that post never happened!! (it was just a week and 2 days ago, so this should work.) I keep singing in my head "So much to say, so much to say, so much to say, so much to say" the song by Dave Mathews band...

"I Wike it" (I like it) ---one of my favorites!!
"I drop it"
"I poo poo" (and she really does know!)
"Hi ____(insert name)" (could be Daddy, Mommy, Mason, bear, quack quack...)
"Water"
"Bath"
"talk" - this is what she calls phones
"R too" (Where are you?)
"nigh nigh" (night - night)
"yummy"
"good job"
"almost"
"Catch"
"mo mo" (movie)
"WATCH" (repeated over and over until you agree to watch)
"jumpy" (jump)
"stabewy" (strawberry)
"pizza"
"cheese"
"don't"
"Stop it"
"brush"
"pretty"
"cute"
"cool"
"airplane"
"car"
"look"
"book"
"fussy"
"dog"
"cat"
"bird"
"cow"
"khack khacks" - means duck, and by the way she loves ducks!
"dolPin" - dolphin
"fea fops" - flip flops - she loves to steal mason's flip flops and run off with them....
"horse"
"pig"
"Chicken"
"Nesha"
"sares" (stairs)
"I get it" (I'll get it)
"I won" (she learned this from Mason - but I don't think she understands what she is saying)

I could go on, but she copies so much of what any of us say. These are the words we have heard multiple times over and above those words I have posted about previously. She is putting many of them together in 2-3 word sentences. She also makes a lot of animal sounds - pretty much any that we have talked about. It is just amazing... she is quite a little character.

She realizes now what is important to Mason and will often times try to take things that are his. You know she knows she is up to something - because she grabs and immediately runs as fast as she can away from where he is. This happens with his cup, his shoes, his cars, and all sorts of things. Where did she learn this???? I don't know..... maybe Mason? I'm not blaming Mason, cause I don't know for sure... It would be funny if I didn't have to deal with somebody screaming either way you look at it.
