Meet the Teacher

Tuesday night was meet the teacher night at the "school" where Mason and Maya will start on Thursday. They will be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last night the kids went to their class rooms for about 30-45 minutes while the parents had a quick meeting.

When we asked Mason who his teachers were, he said "Ms. Enemy and Ms. Angel." (Good vs. Evil) HMMMMM??????
Ha ha ha....... No, his teacher is not really Ms. Enemy, but rather, Ms. Melanie.

Gigi got Mason a new Cars (Disney Cars Movie) back pack and a little Lightning McQueen car...which is his newest obsession. He was VERY excited about these things. I'm not sure, but I almost think that Lightning McQueen may have pushed ol' Sportacus out of the number one spot?!?!



















Just before bed - Mason decked out in his Cars PJ's, wearing his Cars backpack, holding his Cars folder and Cars car - Lightning McQueen was ready to hit the hay! This just scratches the surface of all his Cars gear.... there is also a hat, sunglasses, another pair of PJ's, another folder, a wallet, a T-Shirt.... I told you - he is a little obsessed right now.



















Maya's teachers were Ms. Kay and Ms. Ginger. Maya adapted quickly. When we picked her up she was sitting with the other kids happily playing. I had sneaked out of her room hoping for her not cry. They said 2 other kids were crying, so she cried for a few mintues with them, but was fine after that. I really think she is going to enjoy school when she gets used to the teachers. I bet she will adapt after a couple of days of going.


Since Gigi got Mason the Lightning McQueen car, she matched the surprise for Maya with a new "Cowgirl Dora" doll. The important part is that it came with a little brush that Maya really appreciated. She loves Dora too. In fact, last night long after we put her in bed, (WITH DORA) you could hear her talking to or about Dora.... "Dowa."
