DisneyWorld day 2, Hollywood Studios

We made it to Hollywood Studios before the gates open, as we planned. It was a fast and furious morning trying to get a quick breakfast and catching an 8:00 shuttle to the park. We had our agenda ready to go thanks to Angi and the RideMax software she got me for my birthday. If your plans do take you to Disney World in the future, I do recommend this software... very helpful. So, according to our plans Toy Storia Mania would be one of the most popular attractions and we were to head there first. Brian was going to get Fast Passes for Toy Storia Mania while Mason, Maya and I got in line for the actual ride. We figured the kids would want to ride it several times (and we were right!) Brian had to wait about as long for the Fast passes as we did for the actual ride, so we rode without Brian the first time. Next we headed to see the High School Musical 3 pep rally. It was high energy and fun and we were already so so so hot. Maya wore her Gabriella dress and Mason wore his Troy shirt, so they were definitely dressed the parts.

Next up was the Indiana Jones stunt show, and Maya was already acting tired.... oh boy.

She did perk up a little after we got situated.

The show was pretty cool, lots of action, noise and FIRE!

It was then time for the Jedi Training Academy. Mason was looking very much forward to this. He still loves to see the pictures. He didn't get chosen from the crowd to train, but he still spoke of it as one of the highlights of the day. I was proud of him for not complaining about not getting picked. Maya on the other hand... was hot and CRANKY!

Luckily after the Jedi training, it was time for lunch. We made reservations for Hollywood & Vine as recommended by Angi. It was really cool and felt great in the restaurant, and it was a "play and dine" which meant we would get to meet characters and there was some dancing and stuff.

We met The Little Einsteins "June"....

And Goliath the lion from Jojo's Circus. Maya really loved Goliath and followed him around petting him.

The food was great. Mason actually tried their chicken nuggets and LIKED them. He at at least 4. I was really proud of him for that.

It was just about time for the Block Party Bash, basically a street parade with lots of music, dancing and lots of characters the kids love.

Mason was asked to come dance in the street, but he declined. Maya was asked and accepted. She got to dance with Woody from Toy Story!! Very cute. And she got a little green Nerf ball for participating... Mason wished he had accepted after he saw that.



We stumbled upon Lightning McQueen and Mater and we were happy to get a family picture with them. Cars was Mason's favorite movie for a LONG time.

We all rode the Star Tours ride, which was a Star Wars themed ride that made you feel like you were in a space ship. It was fun.

We had a little time to kill before another show and the kids had fun playing in the "Honey I shrunk the Playground".

The Lights, Motors, Actions Extreme Stunt show was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice, so just trust me.

We were all hot and really tired at this point, but we did still have our fast passes for Toy Storia Mania... we made it back there and enjoyed this attraction again. Toy Storia Mania was probably all 4 of our favorites from Hollywood Studios!

That concluded our day 2. We headed back to the hotel and ordered pizza.
