We left Wednesday afternoon headed to Port Aransas, but with a planned stop in New Bruanfels to break up the road trip a little. The kids did great in the car. They both took a short nap, we stopped at McDonald's in Temple to get them nuggets, go to the bathroom and they played for about 10 minutes on the playground. We made it to the hotel about bedtime, but they were TOTALLY wound up..
I always say how much I love that they play so well together and laugh constantly... but they are LOUD! We got a room with 2 Queen beds. So, the first thing they did was jump from bed to bed over and over and over again. They think hotels are so much fun. This would be the first time for M&M to ever have to share a bed. Maya was not too sure about the idea... but after talking a lot -- they both finally went to sleep. Both Mason and Maya talk in their sleep, so Brian and I did not get much sleep.
