Special stop in San Antonio

Before our trip to Port Aransas, I had decided that I wanted to stop along the way going home. I called Amanda (who lives in San Antonio) and asked about their plans for Sunday. She was gracious enough to let Mason, Maya, and I come hang out with them and spend the night. The kids had fun playing together. Here are Maddie and Maya together.

And Mason with Brooke. She is so cute and little and sweet. My kids always bring with them plenty of energy and noise wherever they go.. so this stop was no different.

Zak and/or Amanda asked Maya about what her favorite food was... and of course she replied "steak." Next thing I knew Zak was at the grocery store buying steaks to grill. Dinner was awesome -- Maya ate her own filet. Amanda made these really flavorful yummy potatoes and a great salad too.

We piled them all in the big tub for bubble bath before bed. Then Maya slept in Maddie's room on her trundle bed. Mason slept with me. Maya roamed down stairs looking for me in the middle of the night, so she slept the rest of the night on the floor.
